Sarawak trip

People, I'm back! Back from a long sleep and also back from Sarawak! It was a very great trip and I swear I didn't feel like going home. I miss every single thing I did in Sarawak. I miss the tour guides, the food, the hotel, the long journey and especially the fun. I would like to type down things which I can remember, not everything as I can't remember all. (:

Bako National Park/Fishing Village
We took a speed boat, not speedy for some, to Bako National Park. It was a 30 minutes trip, I think. The tall mountains of trees were very beautiful. Haryati, Farahdilla, Eri Farah, Mdm Fatimah's husband and children were in the same boat. When we reached there, we had to make a choice whether we want to go for trail one, two or three. My three best friends (Phat, Sutri and Nazimah) and I decided to take the trail three, which we had to go for hiking. It was difficult but at the same time, it was very fun. Phat was the first person to lead the way while I was the second one. But Mr Ahmad was still the first one to lead. Any guy who went to the front and became the first, we would tell them to go back behind. I can say that we had girl power! We climbed up the big rocks which almost looked like a staircase? We could see the beautiful nature and views from the top. I really can't explain how fun it was. We reached the plateau and had a few minutes break and continued our way to the top. After reaching the top, we turned around and walked down the same way. Going back down was the most difficult one, most of us fell down. I had my first fall in Sarawak already. I was glad that I had one. It didn't hurt my butt at all. We reached at the bottom and ate our lunch before continuing our journey. We made our way to our boats. I had to separate with my three best friends and took the boat with the same people but with an additional of two people, Najib and Zul. I thought we were going back to the jetty, but we had to stop at a village to make our way to visit the fishing village. The tour guide told us to walk straight. Yes, we did that, but we came to a dead end. Not really a dead end, there was a pathway on the right. But the tour guide told us to go straight. We walked for a long time and in the end, we only met a forest, not a fishing village. We had to turn around and walked again. By the way, I met a cute little kitten. Too cute that it made me feel like stepping on it. We just had to walk through a fishing village and took the boat back to the jetty. Yes, only walk through it. I thought they were going to teach us how to fish prawns and fish. But I still enjoyed walking. (:

Fairy Cave
We thought we had to make a choice whether we want to go for the Fairy Cave or the Wind Cave, but at last, all the students had to go for the Fairy Cave. Firstly, before reaching the entrance, we had to climb up a 7 storey staircase. Well, I heard that. The cave was very big and beautiful. We saw different shapes of stalagmites. We had to climb up the stairs and it was tiring. I don't know how many flight of stairs there was. Going back down was also difficult and my poor Phat fell down. It must really hurt a lot as she fell and I think her back hit the stairs. Then we went back to the coach. Sorry for the little details.

Sunset Cruise
We took a two storey little cruise. It went around the river and we also watched the sunset. There was also a dance which was performed by the dancers. I don't know what kind of dance it was. Must be an Iban dance? Nazimah and Syafiq joined the dance. I was happy that Nazimah was very daring enough to volunteer herself. We had some light food before having the real dinner at a restaurant. We watched the sunset and it was time for Phat, Sutri, Nazimah, Dianah, Nadirah and I went up to the second floor to have some fresh air. Took a picture and went back down. We stopped at the jetty and proceeded to the coach. We then went for a dinner. I can't recall which restaurant we went to because there were so many restaurants where we had our dinners at!

Third and Fourth Day Bus Journey
The girls were in Bus B and we really had a great time together. We sang together. We danced together. We cheered together. Like seriously, it was such a hell great moment! We sang to the song 'Low', some nursery songs and etcetra. Mdm Nor's daughter danced to the song too. She was so adorable. Nazimah was one of the most hyperactive one. I almost lost my voice after cheering and singing loudly. A great thing about Bus B, girl power!

Hotel
I was supposed to sleep in room 508, with Syaza and Hidayah. But I decided to go to room 509 as Phat, Sutri and Nazimah were in that room. We did almost everything together. Right, Phat? I just love all-girls-night. We called the room service and ordered Laksa Sarawak, Caramel Custard, Milo and also Fish and Chips on the first night. We gave some Laksa and Caramel Custard to Zul and his roommates as we couldn't finish all of them. Every single night with these three girls was great. We were very open-minded (inside joke). We recorded ourselves dancing with Phat's camera, screaming here and there, jumping around, ate together, watched the television and slept together. We even combined our beds together so that all of us could fit in. On the third night, Nadzirah, Eri Farah and Fatin came to our room and slept overnight. We shared our secrets and talked everything out. Seven people slept on a combined queen size and a single size bed. It was quite crammed and my leg was in pain when I woke up. Let me also share with you some ghostly moments, not that ghostly. It all happened on the third night, when there were seven people in our room. Nazimah heard the toilet flushed by itself. I think the toilet bowl didn't automatically flush by itself. It should be done manually and it can be flushed. Fatin heard the radio turned on by itself and she thought I was the one who switched on as I was sleeping quite near to it. But I didn't. Next, I heard the radio turned on by itself again. I just ignored as my sleep was far more important to me. Some of us heard footsteps and knocks but we weren't sure who did it or what did it. Another thing, I want to share with you Phat's funny ghostly moment. Sorry Phat, I don't mean to embarrass you, but it was such a cute moment. I can't remember which day this happened, might be the fourth morning. She might get over paranoid about what happened on the third day. I was the first one to take a shower first and I had a hot shower. So, the mirror was fogged with mist from the hot water. I hope you understand of what I'm trying to say. I was brushing my teeth and I was bored. I wrote ''Yo, bebo!'' on the mirror. Then I went out. It was Phat and Sutri's turn to bathe. About 15 minutes later, they ran out of the toilet and Phat screamed, ''Someone wrote on the mirror!!!!!''. I don't know how terrified Phat was, but the impression on her face was very funny. The eyes was watery, like she was about to cry. Sutri was like dumbfounded, didn't know what was really happening. She told me that she ran out of the toilet because Phat did so. How funny is that? Then I told Phat that I was the one who wrote that. Tell me, which ghost wants to write something like ''Yo, bebo!''. Ghosts often write ''I'm going to kill you'' or whatever sentences which are threatening. But I love the impression of yours, bebo! Oh yes, our room was like a food paradise. We bought a lot of food which included ice-cream. We didn't get to finish the whole tub and also the tiramisu flavoured ice-cream (which we didn't get to taste at all) as it melted. Too bad. ):

Last Night
Nazimah wanted to solve a problem between this party and the second party. Sorry, names can't be revealed without Nazimah's permission. Zul joined us too. The three of them went back to the room as they were afraid that the teachers would catch them. They went to room 511 and told us that they would come back when our food arrives. We called them and they came with another five boys. I was so shocked. I was really afraid that Mr Omar would catch us. The boys were very loud and in the end, Mr Omar came. Well at least, some of them had their supper before getting caught. Hadi, Fadhilon and Aliff hid in the toilet, while Farhan hid in the small cupboard below the television and Zul, Budi, Najib and Anwar hid behind the curtains. I pretended to sleep with Nadzirah and Mr Omar came into our room. He found those three people inside the toilet. They were being punished. Then when Mr Omar and the three boys went to somewhere else, the five quickly ran out of the room and went back to Zul's room. At last, they surrendered to Mr Omar as they felt that it was very bad for the three of them to be punished instead all of them. I would like to apologize to the eight of them. We didn't mean to get you guys into trouble. Don't say that I didn't warn.

Shopping!
Yes, Mango was there for me, twice! Actually, one of the nights, we weren't supposed to go shopping for clothes, but for food. I didn't know that we couldn't shop. I hid my clothes in my plastic bag of kueh lapis as I was afraid that the teachers would see. On the next day, we got to shop at a bigger shopping mall. I didn't have anymore RM and decided to exhange with Mdm Fatimah's husband. I gave him 50 Singapore dollars and he gave me 115RM. Then it was time to shop, yes you guessed it, the first shop I stepped into was Mango. Then I followed Zul to find something to buy. We kept going to and fro Quiksilver and Levi's. Still, Zul couldn't make up his mind. In the end, we went to Levi's and bought a smart tee. We paid together and then he had to rush back to his coach as he was so late. Luckily I met Zakiyah and her friends, or not I would be alone. It was fun to run around with Zul, just to get something for him. Went to Starbucks to buy Caramel Frappucino and headed back to the coach. Dinner at a Thai Restaurant.

That's all I can say for now. I'll update if there's more interesting stories I can remember. Pictures will be uploaded soon. Big thank you to those who made my five days a great and memorable one, especially my three roommates, Nadzirah and Zul, of course. I'm glad that I'm already quite close to the express students, especially Genevieve, Ariel and Prico. You guys were extremey great, during dinner at the seafood restaurant especially. To Phat, Nazimah and Sutri, thanks for allowing me to stay over at your room for the whole four nights. I miss having breakfast together with you all, in another way of saying, I miss every single thing we did together. Even little seconds. Thanks Zul for accompanying me in the plane to Sarawak and also to Senai. Thanks for accompanying me to Mango and also in the bus on the way back to Springfield. I hope you'll like the Levi's tee we bought together. I love you, boyfriend. (:
