In shorts
"Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. If you love what you are doing, you will be successful" - Albert Schweitzer
That was a good quote though. I think I should put a quote in every post I update. Great idea, huh? If you are not interested, don't read the quote lorh.
Anyway, today was a tiring day. I walked a lot. Firstly, I went to meet boyfriend at my bus stop as he was coming back from school. I sent him home and when I was in the bus heading home, Issha sent me a message, asking me what I was doing. So, I told her that I was going back home. By coincidence, she was at Pasir Ris interchange and my bus was still at Pasir Ris. She asked me to follow her and Yan to Bugis. Luckily, I was just a few stops away from the interchange. I dropped down and I made my way there on my feets (I was lazy to wait for the bus).
It was my very first time going to Bugis, wearing a sport shorts, (not forgetting the undergarments), a simple Mango t-shirt, sandals and no eyeliner, mascara or whatsoever. I wasn't feeling comfortable at all! The good thing was, I got to kill the time even though I wasn't fasting. But seriously, I felt as if I was fasting. I didn't eat since morning and I had the first proper meal of the day at around 9:30 just now. I went to town with a simple shorts and I kept feeling as if I was going to the beach or perhaps the market. It was the worst day ever. From Pasir Ris to Bugis to Suntec City to Marina Square to City Link to Esplanade! But I had a great time with Zul, Issha and Yan today, though I had to endure wearing shorts.
At night (I got to change into something better at last!), went to Geylang with Bebo to take pictures and also window shopping. That was when I had a proper meal. Just a Ramly Burger actually. Went around to take pictures of the lights but to be honest, all the lights looked the same. Quite colourful. Bought some food for the ones at home. Bought candy floss for ourselves and my taste buds had the first taste of the Turkey ice-cream, not that chicken turkey. It tasted quite nice and sort of chewy. Thank God I wasn't irritated by those pranks. I got it on the spot. Maybe I looked so serious when I was actually smiling and saying to myself, "Get ready for this!". So, came home around 11:15 and no one nagged at me.
I had a marvellous time with Bebo, Zul, Issha and Yan despite the shorts thingy. What a day! It's 12:44 in the morning. Time to hit the sack, man!
P/S: I love my boyfriend so much. I'm sorry, dear.
