Biennale, SAM and 8Q ♥

I'm blogging, so does my boyfriend. Meaning that, both of us are blogging at the same time, and at the same account. I can't wait to read his post! (:

Anyway, let's talk about yesterday. It was a tiring day, I can say. I had to get up as early as 5 in the morning just to get my ass off the bed. No, wait, I kept snoozing on my alarm clock and I woke up at 5:45. I didn't iron my uniform because I didn't have time and my uniform looked neat. I had to go to school alone because Sutri overslept. I ran like one mad girl with a paper bag on my left hand, and another bag on the right, just to catch the bus. I thought I was going to be late. On the night before, Mr Siva told me that I had to come earlier than 6:45. I came to school just on time and Mr Siva was nowhere in sight. So much for his 'be early'. I decided to go home if Mr Siva was late. I waited for the right time to leave, but then he already reached.

Actually, I really had no idea on what was going to happen yesterday. I did what the teachers told me to do. I was told to bring the chairs, tables and the art materials and place them along the AVA room and the General Office. The competition was being held there. Ayesha and I were surprised that we didn't need to join the competition. Issha and Sutri were the competitors. Since Sutri didn't come, we made use of her canvas. There were not so many competitors came. Some were teachers and students from other school.

So yeah. It was fun painting on the canvas! I had no idea on what we were doing. We used paint and just throw them onto the canvas. Kind of cool though. We took a bigger canvas and did the same thing. None of the teachers knew that we took the canvas. And we were surprised that Mr Wong and Mr Soh could actually paint.

Oh yes. I didn't realize that my uncle was there! I was there for quite a long time and I didn't know that the guy who was wearing an Adidas cap was actually my uncle. I thought he was a Chinese guy and I had actually been admiring his artwork all the while. He got up from his seat and I saw his face. I was blur at first. I kept calling him and I stalked him. He didn't reply. He didn't even turn back! I thought I got the wrong person. He sat and I got close to him. I called him and he looked at me. He was shocked to see me actually. He didn't know that I was schooling there. I was also surprised that he and Mr Siva are friends.

When the event ended, we helped to clear the tables and chairs. Then my uncled asked me to clean his paintbrushes and the palette for him. I had a tough time scrubbing the acrylic paint of the palette as some were super dried. I spent quite a long time in the toilet and I was alone. Thank God that the door was half opened, in a sense of like those saloon doors where the cowboys hang out.

Had some free fried rice! My uncle asked Mdm Sri and Mr Siva about me. I hope they said something nice, or not, I would be a dead meat. Anyway, Issha told me that she heard that Mr Siva was talking about the Barcelona trip with another teacher. I hope the trip will be on and I hope it doesn't clash with our 'O' level Malay paper next year. That's what Issha and I are hoping for.

The three of us tried to escape. I said goodbye to my uncle first and I went into the art room. I took the bigger canvas home, which Ayesha and I painted on. We took a long way just to escape. Unfortunately, some teachers saw us. But they didn't really bother. I took a bus home. I had a super hard time bringing the canvas home as the paint was still wet. My skirt was so dirty. Even my uniform. Not forgetting my hoodie. Everything went red. I was quite pissed off actually. I wasn't being clumsy, I tried being extra careful. I still got dirtied anyway.

I realized that my post is long. But I shall continue.

So, I rushed home. People in the bus stared at me, because I looked so messy! My uniform, my skirt. God, it was so embarassing. I met Nazimah at the void deck and we proceeded to my house. I took a shower, prepared and went to the bus stop. We met Sutri, unfortunately, Nazimah didn't follow. She wanted to meet Sutri. We took a bus to interchange and met the cousins. Stopped at City Hall, changed train and stopped at Dhoby Ghaut. We walked all the way to SAM. Didn't really spend a long time there. We went to 8Q as the exhibitions were more interesting. I bought the bag at last! Thanks to my father. (:

We then went on separate ways. Sutri and I went to see the Biennale exhibitions again. Went to see the exhibitions at South Beach Development first. We didn't get to see some of them when we were having the Biennale race. It felt great to see the exhibitions, without running around. Walked to City Hall. Went inside the Supreme Court. There were even more amazing artworks inside. I like the 'I Wonder Why' and the 'Black Field' exhibitions. I can say that I like all! We took a train to Orchard. Had Major Crush at Slice of Ice at Far East Plaza. I thought of buying Cheesy Curry Chicken at Chippy. No one came to attend to our orders because a girl was complaining that there was a plastic inside her fries. She was holding everyone's time. Especially ours. Our orders were not taken. So, the staff had to fry fries again for that girl. She was so bossy and arrogant. She talked to the staff in a rude manner. If I were her, I would just ignore about the plastic incident and eat whatever is left. Still, our orders were not taken. We then went to buy some food from Old Chang Kee and headed home.
Alright, the post is getting longer and longer. I don't wish to elaborate more.

Anyway! I would like to thank my beloved boyfriend for posting a post at my blog for the very first time. It was very sweet of him to do so. I can't wait to meet him tomorrow morning! I shall blog something like his one day. He's very nice, and that's the reason why I love him. No, I have many more reasons why I love him! ♥

I want to change this post's time so that his post will be the first one. (:

Tonight, I'll be sleeping alone since my grandmother went to my aunt's place. So yeah. Lights on. Anyway, there are a lot of pictures. I'll upload them whenever I'm free.
