Biennale ♥

Biennale Race was hell great fun! I enjoyed every moment though it was tiring. We travelled most on foot and now my legs are in pain.
Anyway, thank God that we found a replacement at a very last minute. Luckily, we didn't cancel our registration and luckily, we met up just in case we could find a replacement. Thanks to the life saver, Abdul Syafiq, we could still join the race.
Sutri, Issha and I made our way to Raffles City Shopping Centre by train. We went up to the Atrium and waited for further instructions. They said that if our replacement don't reach there by 11, we would be disqualified. So, we told Syafiq to take a cab there and we paid for him the fares.
Good thing, we were still in.
So, they gave us the first clue card and then the race started. They gave us a picture of the building and we figured it out. Our first checkpoint was the South Beach Development Block. We had to walk around that area and looked out for all the sculptures. There were five in total. Then they gave us questions for us to answer. Syafiq and I walked around again to look for the answers. Our marks got deducted actually because we used handphones to communicate. Anyway, we got proceeded and got the next clue. Next, we had to see the exhibitions at Block 9 and 9A. Then they gave questions again. Most of the questions asked what were the exhibitions representing. So, we got the answers correct and were given the next clue. We had to look for stuffs that were in the photos given. We found the first two items, but couldn't find the last one and we gave up.
Took the next clue and headed to the Esplanade Bay. We searched around for the container looking APL building. I think that the APL containers weren't building. It looked like a construction site. We went to the Padang to look for it. We spent a lot of time searching for that big container. Then, we got to know that it was at the another side, near to the small Merlion. Unfortunately, it was very far. But somewhere near there. It was a long walk and I swear that my legs were hurting so much. We reached there, and from the outside, it looked like a construction site. Well actually, there were some Biennale exhibitions inside. For our first mission, we had to form a model using recycled bottles and newspapers. We made it looked like the APL containers. The second one, we had to go through a small passage way. Surprisingly, inside was awesome! The background was beautiful. It has snow and everything was almost white. Got the next clue and went to the 4th checkpoint. We had to use our body to form the shapes from the pictures given. Some were weird. Went to the next checkpoint, which was near to the previous checkpoint. Issha and I had to take the same pictures like the pictures that were given. Got the next clue and moved to the next checkpoint. While we were on the way, we got a call that the game has already ended. We were told to make our way to the Supreme Court. There were a lot of big maggots. Kind of cool though. We had a short break before the prize-giving ceremony. Unfortunately, we didn't win anything. But we got a free pass for the Biennale exhibition, a Biennale shirt that costs $35, a certificate of participation and a Biennale bag! Oh yes! Each team received $12 each. (:
I had so much fun today. I thought of going to SAM and 8Q SAM tomorrow. I want to see the Masriadi: Black is my last weapon exhibition. But I can't find anyone to go with me. No confirmation from Sutri yet. Can't get through Nazimah and Phat. Anyone? So, the admission for SAM is $4 and 8Q SAM is $1.50. For both, it costs $5. Anything, do feel free to text me since I can't receive any calls.
Now, let the pictures do the talking. I can't wait to see the exhibitions again. (:

I miss you terribly. I guess, I should just wait for another six days since you wanted to be left alone. I miss you, and I love you so much. ):
